To successfully navigate through life, you have to answer two questions honestly.
1) Where am I truly at. 2) Where do I truly want to be.
If you need time to think through these questions, it would be time well invested. Because this is "your" life, and the more accurate the answers are to Your preferences (and not parent's, spouse's or others), the happier you'll be with the results. Parents, spouse and others have their own lives, and too many people get lost in other people's expectation. Everyone needs to respect each others healthy boundaries, and sometimes reminders need to be given out.
This also pertains to disconnecting from Social Media, talk shows, and news programs. Believe it or not, there is a lot of subliminal programing designed to target your subconscious thoughts and beliefs. You don't have to walk away from these forever, but when developing your own destination, you don't want to view it from other programing or filters.
After accurately identifying where your are, and where you want to end up, notice the necessary steps or common mile markers you'll pass through along your journey. This helps keep you on your path, and gives you encouragement on your progress.
Next, notice how you feel. Your feelings are your internal GPS that people often over look. Does this feel good, then move forward. Does it feels back, then move away. Respect and Honor the information your body is trying to convey.
Understanding that everyone is here to Grow. They grow at their pace, not yours. You grow at your pace and not theirs. Knowing and Respecting the difference is very helpful.
