As we enter a new year we can tell the world is getting more off balance. Since our thoughts, our actions, and our deeds directly affect others and eventually the progress of the world, I thought I’d share my own personal rules for navigating life. There are only 3, so this makes it simple for me.
Trust:
Trust in the Lord with All your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight.
Send LOVE:
Love is always the solution to any problem. The only question is, who is it that needs the love? Them? You? Both??
Let God be God:
I can be there in loving support. Respecting other people’s journeys are between them and God, I don’t have to control other people’s circumstances.
Following these rules as much as I can helps me to stay in my lane, and allow others the freedom to discover their own path.
There are Universal Laws that are governing our lives far more than man's laws.
These laws focus on Peace, Respect, and Love for all people everywhere.
We need to hold tightly to this truth and practice this truth daily, to be on the right side of Universal harmony and justice.
Everyone is on their own Spiritual Journey. Each person's alignment has nothing to do with other people. We are 100% responsible for our feelings, our choices, our actions, and our alignment to Source.
We are evolving to a higher way of living.
Pick 3 times during the day to check in and ask yourself these questions:
Am I staying in "my own lane"? Am I managing my own emotions? Are the actions I'm choosing, aligned with Peace, Love and Respect?
If you are, Good Job!
If you're not, don't worry, just redirect your focus.

Complaint or Compliment
War or Worship
Hate or Love
Competition or Compassion
--One is an attempt to have power by Force
--The other is true power by Love
Choose Wisely!
We are promised that we will reap whatever it is we are sowing.
Are our lives perfect? Probably not. I know the world isn't perfect. I also know there are more good things about our world than there are bad. All we need to do to bring more into our lives, and also to bring a higher frequency to this planet is to focus on the good things happening in our lives, and in the world.
Of course we need to acknowledge the bad things that are happening, that helps us decide the changes we want to make. But if you're spending more than 20% of your time looking at what's going wrong, then you are missing so much. You're missing all the good things happening, and you're also missing out on learning or using your powerful ability to change things.
If we truly are living a grateful life, then everyday is Thanksgiving!
The best meals are always prepared with attention to details, and the greatest ingredient is love.
This is also true with our cultures, traditions, and most of all, our children. Children grow up too fast, and often with influence of technology or the guidance from others than might not share our values.
Our children are the biggest treasure we will ever have. It's worth spending the necessary time with them to infuse the family's values, love, and traditions in to them....allow them to simmer, in order for the sweet essence of their gifts to blossom.
This is a Harvest that will pay off year after year!
For Everything, there is a season.
A time for rain, a time to sow.
A time to plant, a time to reap.
I look at Autumn as a very reflective time. It gets a little cooler out, kids are back at school, and the sun sets earlier. Which affords us a little more quiet time to assess our life.
We are also told, we will "Reap what we Sow". It's a wonderful time for us to notice, "what is our life producing?"
Am I seeing in my life, what I want...or what I don't want? This is a great question because once you know the answer to that, you can make any necessary adjustments.
If you're seeing a life you want, then keep doing whatever your doing. If you're not seeing what you want then ask yourself two questions.
1) What do I want?
2) What do I need to do today that will lead me to my desired outcome?
All the answers to your life, is inside of you. It's important to ask yourself good questions in order to get the best answers. Once you got the answers, write them down and work towar...
Stress is a silent killer
Stress can be physical or mental. It can be real or even imagined. Many people don't realize that stress can, and many times are Manufactured!
Even by thinking about something unpleasant can put your body into stress. And the effects on your body will be as if the situation you're thinking about is real!
If this is true, which it is, then the opposite is true too. You can reverse the situation by thinking of things more positive, or going for walk to calm yourself so you can look at things more objectively. You can also play sports, work on a hobby, or anything else that brings joy into your life.
After you take a brake from the stressful situation, you will have a clearer mind to see the remedy.
Remember, you will not find the solution, with the same mind that see it to be a problem.
THIS WAY, YOU ARE MAINTAINING THE CONTROL OVER YOUR LIFE!
Spreading the Light
In these dark times with Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the out pouring of light and love from people all over the country is making a difference.
Hurricane Milton was supposed to hit land as a Category 5 storm. Miraculously, it came in as a Category 2 storm.
Divided we are weak, United we are strong.
We will get through this together!
H U M A N I T Y
In the wake of Hurricane Helene, it's important to remember how volatile life can be. We shouldn't take anything for granted.
What we have today, can be gone tomorrow.
During these challenging times, lets agree to be there for one another, If you're able to help the people affected by this storm, please know your efforts would be greatly appreciated.
If you're not in the area, you might want to donate to a trustworthy organization that is in the area.
There might even be people in your area that is suffering from a personal storm in their own live. Again, lets agree to be there for one another. By lending a helping hand you might not only be a shining light in someone's storm, but also a wonderful example to anyone noticing your good deeds.
And what you're left with, is the profound feeling that you made a difference in the world.
