Random Acts Of Kindness

Random acts of kindness are unselfish, unexpected gestures intended to make someones life easier, or the world a better place.

Simple acts, like volunteering, paying for the person's order behind you, giving a person a compliment, or even hold the door open for a stranger.

While these kind actions feel good to both the giver and the receiver, what most people don't realize are the residual benefits.

Acts of kindness not only boosts happiness, reduces stress, strengthen community bonds, but as a bonus, it has an affects your brain's chemistry.  These kind actions releases dopamine, oxytocin, and serotonin in the person's brain of the Giver, the Receiver, AND anyone that Witness the action.

Now that's what I call, an Influencer!

Keep Things Simple

Remember when things used to be simple?

Just because we're adults now, with responsibilities, doesn't mean we have to be stuck in the challenging part of life.  Actually, it's quite the opposite!  The more challenging life is, the more we need those refreshing breaks of sitting in nature and laughing.

If we don't have some resemblance of balance, then we really aren't any good to anyone!

Make a list of things you enjoy doing.  Make sure it offers a variety of time duration and cost.  Some days you'll be able to take a full day, while other days you might only have 15 - 20 minutes.

It doesn't have to be elaborate, it just needs to be a regular practice of feeding your soul some joy.

This is a powerful tool to teach your children.  Teaching by example is always the best way.

Make life worth living!!

A Healthy Time Out

Running low on energy?

Are you taking care of others with no time left for you?

Then the solution is easy, take a healthy time out!  We all need to do this from time to time. It offers us some time to re-think and re-prioritize what we're trying to accomplish.

When you take care of your needs, then you have far more energy, drive, and clarity to help others.  Just like the airlines instructing you to put your oxygen mask on before assisting others, the same is true in every day life.  If you give and give and give, without replenishing yourself, then you end up depleted without the ability to help anyone...including yourself.

Taking a Time Out is not selfish - it's self-love.  The more self-love you have, the more you're able to authentically love others.

Let's face it, the world needs more authentic Love!

Peace On Earth, Goodwill Towards All

It's that time of year when the world slows down and we focus on things that hold true meaning in life.  Family, friends, kindness and connections to others.

Perhaps we should incorporate these thoughtful moments into our lives on a regular basis.

Make it a habit to take the first 5 minutes of each day, to hold theses harmonious thoughts in your heart for just a few moments before getting ready to start your day.

You'll be surprised of the results it will have on the rest of your day, not to mention your health!

Reaping what we Sow

We are promised that we will reap whatever it is we are sowing.

Are our lives perfect? Probably not.  I know the world isn't perfect.  I also know there are more good things about our world than there are bad.  All we need to do to bring more into our lives, and also to bring a higher frequency to this planet is to focus on the good things happening in our lives, and in the world.

Of course we need to acknowledge the bad things that are happening, that helps us decide the changes we want to make.  But if you're spending more than 20% of your time looking at what's going wrong, then you are missing so much.  You're missing all the good things happening, and you're also missing out on learning or using your powerful ability to change things.

If we truly are living a grateful life, then every day is Thanksgiving!

Harvest Preparing

The best meals are always prepared with attention to details, and the greatest ingredient is love.

This is also true with our cultures, traditions, and most of all, our children.  Children grow up too fast, and often with influence of technology or the guidance from others than might not share our values.

Our children are the biggest treasure we will ever have.  It's worth spending the necessary time with them to infuse the family's values, love, and traditions in to them....allow them to simmer, in order for the sweet essence of their gifts to blossom.

This is a Harvest that will pay off year after year!
